About Michael Marcou
Since starting out in finance over two decades ago, Michael has continued to learn and grow with the industry, refining his knowledge and gaining highly valued experience. He has worked with a range of industry leaders over the years, including St George Bank, Global Capital, and Aussie Home Loans.
He has also expanded his expertise by managing and operating various financial companies himself. This includes iCONNECT Financial in Woollahra, as well as his own previous businesses, Crystal Clear Finance Options and Mortgage Options HQ.
Today, he runs MMARCLS as a way to use his extensive financial proficiency to help people find the best solutions for their financing needs.
Ever since he began working in the financial industry, Michael has consistently educated himself, broadening his knowledge to ensure he can provide his clients with the very best advice. He has a number of qualifications and accreditations and holds finance body memberships with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) and the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA).
Michael’s Financial Education and Experience
Michael has developed an incredibly varied career history throughout the years, allowing him to gain extensive knowledge in business and finance across multiple industries. This expansive knowledge eventually brought him to where he is today, allowing him to create an unparalleled financial lending company that truly helps the people it serves.
Growing up in Sydney’s Southern Suburbs, Michael started his journey into the working world as a professional sportsman, a role that was both physically and mentally demanding. Later on in his professional life, he decided to capitalise on the strong work ethic he’d developed over the years, leaving the sporting world behind to pursue other paths. He entered a new profession as the owner and operator of a local delicatessen in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, using his work ethic to expand the business by introducing a catering service.
Despite contending with a major career change and the complexities that come with expanding any company, Michael still had the commercial acumen to make his new business venture succeed. It was during this time that he was able to really hone his entrepreneurial skills and build on his talent for translating past competencies into new opportunities.
After the success of the delicatessen, Michael made the choice to set off on a new business venture and expand his professional skillset even further. Now, after more than 20 years in the industry, he continues to enjoy working as a successful finance broker and business operator.
